About
I’m a public relations and social media professional, but more importantly, I love to travel and meet new people, I like thinking on my feet, I’m a sucker for a good joke or story and I thrive off my own and others’ passion. Fortunately none of the above is mutually exclusive.

In May 2008 I graduated from Trinity University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Marketing and a minor in Communication Management. Over the course of four years I made the best friends I could have ever asked for, learned from brilliant professors and internships mentors and worked for three years in the windowless newsroom that was the (my beloved) Trinitonian .
In October 2008 I started work at KGBTexas Public Relations / Advertising where I participate and contribute to day-to-day public relations activities for a number of national and regional accounts. I’m also a member of the Digital Marketing Committee, in charge of implementing social media strategies for the agency and our clients.
I’m a co-founder of The BMPR: Business, Media, Public Relations (#BMPR), co-organizer of Tweetcamp San Antonio, Social Media Breakfast (#SMBDC) event coordinator for Social Media Club-DC, and Social Media Club Education Connection ambassador.
I currently live in Washington, DC and attend University of Maryland, where I am earning a Master’s degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations. I’m an instructor of COMM 107: Oral Communication: Principles and Practices. I’m loving every minute of it.
I’m very fortunate and I couldn’t have planned any of this better myself.
