I like the taste of that rainbow

Skittles’ new Web site, which is not much of a Web site at all in the sense that we are used to thinking about Web sites, is awesome – for lack of a better word. Why? Because it’s different. Remarkable, Seth Godin would say.

The news of the site makeover were all the rage in a matter of seconds and it took me a while (clearly, as I am posting this a day after the fact) to find the time to check out what exactly was going on. When I did, I dugg it.

My two cents on the Superbowl ads

It had to be done. I didn’t mean for it to be so late but here I goes… a little bit about the Superbowl ads. A general note… I was in a room that was 80% males, 2% females and 18% wings, chips and beer.

Generally, this year the ads weren’t all too bad. I tried to pick out what sort of appeals they used to get us into buying into whatever it was that they were selling. What do you think?

Google gets you to direct mail yourself

I just saw this on Life Hacker (catching up with my feed) and thought that it was both cool and brilliant. For the price of an envelope and a stamp, you can get stickers for your keyboard and become a Gmail keyboard-shortcut wiz. And if you’re not already using Gmail, it might be time for you to start to. Anyone who can bring stickers back has the right idea. And anyone who can get you to direct mail yourself gets props.
